June has been a very busy month for our YWCA Yonkers family.

Our amazing staff volunteered to chaperone our program participants to attend various parades and festivals in our Yonkers neighborhood. It's part of our outreach strategy to not support commuity events but to also spread the word about the great programs and opportunities at the Y!

We're on a MISSION indeed!

We were proud to host two panel discussions after viewing the film I Am Not a Racist, Am I?

After the film, we asked two of our panelist, Pastor Hassell and Haifa Bint-Kadi to share their views on the film and how racism impacts young people when confronted with it.

Hear what our experts have to say in our  YWCA Yonkers Post Show Convo.
