Next Gen Leaders after school program in Yonkers

Next Gen Leaders is an after school program designed for girls and boys ages 10–21 that provides a safe, supportive environment where young people can be themselves, build meaningful friendships, and develop important life skills. The program focuses on helping participants successfully navigate life through engaging educational, recreational, and personal development activities.

Participants have access to a variety of services and activities including homework assistance, college readiness support, job readiness training, resume building, interview skills techniques, and workshops focused on hygiene and personal wellness. The program also promotes physical health and creativity through sports, Zumba, arts and crafts, and other hands-on activities. In addition, youth benefit from mental health awareness seminars and life-skills workshops that encourage self-confidence, emotional wellness, and leadership development.

The program staff and professional team foster an environment of trust, support, and open communication, allowing youth to express themselves freely, share their thoughts and concerns, and feel heard without judgment. Through consistent mentorship and guidance, staff work to build positive relationships that encourage personal growth, confidence, and leadership.
